Nephew of Jalal Talabani and militiamen of Jalal Talabani attacked innocent people

The election for the Iraqi Parliament is approaching and will be held March 7th, 2010. All the political factions in Iraq including Kurdistan start reassessing their grassroots political bases in order to do better and gain more seats in Parliament. In Kurdish region there are two main political party Kurdistan Democratic party(KDP) led by Massud Barzani and his family and Patriotic Union of Kurdistan led by Jalal Talabani and his family and also there are some opposition lists, the major one called Goran or Change and some other political parties and lists. Last night Feb 16, 2010 Lahor Talabani, nephew of Jalal Talabani, president of Iraq and also the general secretary of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) with a group of militiamen of PUK, Special Forces, stormed to Suleimani general hospital to attack and arrest some supports of Goran movement. Last night in Suleimani city Goran supporters filled the streets of the city and chanting for their Goran list against Alliance list of Kurdistan (PUK and KDP) and caused some conflicts between them. Young men and women on the street of Kurdistan keep shouting Goran, Goran means Change, Change. The special forces of Jalal Talabani came and shot those people to make them scared and spread them out. Few of the supporters of Goran got wounded with bullets and people rushed them to the hospital. Then the special force of Jalal Talabani with the company of his nephew Lahor Talabani stormed the hospital and arrested the wounded supporters of Goran and dragged them and blinded fold them in the front of the nurses and doctors and staff hospital . This reminds us when the Saddam’s Special Forces killed innocent people and attacked the hospitals to arrest injured people during the demonstrations. Until now this special force of Jalal Talabani under the command of his son Pavel Talabani and his nephew Lahor Talabani has arrested 11 people and kidnapped them to unclosed locations including the wounded ones. We ask USA, European countries, and all international organizations to come to help Kurdish people from these two warlord families, Talabani and Barzani and their special forces and put pressure on them to allow Kurdistani people have a fair and free election without any fear and intimidation from their militiamen.
